Ø Raw material air is put through a filter to remove dust and mechanical matter, inhaled by air filter from the atmosphere to remove dust and other mechanical impurities, and enter into injection screw air compressor, through the secondary compression to 1.3MPa (gauge pressure), cooled by after-cooler, enter into the precooling unit,and precooling to 5 ~ 10 ºC, and enter into the oil mist filter group after removed oil then to the switch type molecular sieve purifier, the moisture in the air, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons are absorbed. Molecular sieve purifier is composed of two filling molecular sieve containers, one is in use, and the other one is regenerating the molecular sieve after waste nitrogen in the cold box heated by electric heater.
After air purification, small part as bearing gas of the gas-bearing expansion turbine, the rest of the air is divided into two parts. Most of air gets into main heat exchanger of cold box, and be cooled by expended backflow waste nitrogen. The other small part of air enters into high pressure liquid oxygen evaporation heat exchanger of cold box, and evaporation cooling by the liquid oxygen. Then two parts of air converge in the main heat exchanger central, be cooled again and go into the main heat exchanger air side after reaching certain moisture content. The air is drew out after condensed and liquefied ,through Sub-cooler and throttle to the top of fractionating column as backflow. Liquid oxygen is pumped out of main heat exchanger after the liquid oxygen pump pressurized into the hyperbaric oxygen heat exchanger, be heated and vaporized by air, reheat to normal temperature and discharge out of cold box, filling station fills bottles and provide to users. Pressurized waste nitrogen draw out the top of upper column, after preliminary reheat then expand in gas-bearing turbo expander , expanded waste nitrogen reheat in main heat exchanger, and then out of the cold box as regeneration gas of molecular sieve adsorber. For the safety of equipment operation, small part of liquid air discharge from column regularly to avoid hydrocarbons especially acetylene gathered.
Instrument Control System
Ø The overall design principle for instrumentation & electrical design of the KZO-50 ASU is local control on each individual unit, with detailed description as follows: Ø Air Compressor, pre-cooler and so on have electronic control cabinet and operation plate with themselves, set alarm and operate button. Ø Molecular sieve purifier, electrical heater, turbo expander and distillation column set two local cabinet which temperature, flow rate, liquid level all adopt digital indicator, molecular sieve sequence switch adopts Siemens PLC automatic control. |
